NEW YORK Fashion Week Fall 2013: Catherine Malandrino

 Catherine Malandrino presented a clean and graphic shapes for her Collection Fall 2013.

Inspired by Frensch Art Deco elegant line of Ruhlman.

Elongated silhouttes are ilustrated by funnel neck collard coats to mid calf pencil skirts and glove sleeves in a marriage of leather, cashmere knit, rubberized wool and double silk satin crepe.

Black velvet ribbon, wrap the body and create the illusion of movement.

 

Proportions are ample and comfortable with dropped shoulders, generous cape jacket and hooded trench coats while dresses are lean and follows the body's curve.

Modern and exquisite bags and shoes.

 The combination of black velvet with nude tulle, tones of green, burgundy and midnight blue induces a warm color combination.

Perfect for fall and very sophisticated.
